ISTRIAN CIRCLES CELEBRATE WOMEN'S ENTREPRENEURSHIP DAY

On May 28, 2021, from 12:00 to 15:00, at Camp Polidor - beach bar, Funtana, on the occasion of the International Day of Women Entrepreneurs, a meeting of business women was held, organized by the Croatian Association of Business Women KRUG - Istria Branch, the Croatian Chamber of Commerce - Pula County Chamber, Polidor Camping Park and the Eventor trade union.

All participants were welcomed by the president of the Istria branch, Ms. Gordana Restović, and the president of the Croatian Chamber of Commerce and Industry – Chamber of Commerce of Pula, Jasna Jaklin Majetić.

After welcoming speeches and a brief presentation of the KRUG Association itself, the program continued with "Business speed dating", in which members of the association conducted individual, time-limited conversations in pairs, with the aim of informing and connecting with each other. This form of information exchange proved to be very effective and fun, and additional minutes of conversation were literally requested.

Member of the Istria branch, Klara Trošt Lesić, presented her project ''AKTIVKA – Food in Istria'', a booklet that presents Istrian gastronomy in several languages ​​in an educational and interesting way. Conceived as an ideal gift for children and especially for tourists who come to our destinations with their families.

In the second part of the program, lecturer Manuela Hrvatin held an education on the topic "Interpretation of heritage and storytelling in tourism - current projects in Istria". She presented to those present the interpretation centers in Istria and the importance of valorizing heritage as a comparative advantage of our county.

At the very end of the meeting, potential new members of the Istria branch and upcoming activities were briefly presented.
